Indian device developer Olive Telecommunications set to be announced winner in Kenya Primary school multi-billion dollar Laptop project

Olive Telecom Headquartered in Gurgaon, India and is a privately held Convergence Solutions Device Developer with presence in mobile phones, laptop computers, netbooks, tablet computers, mobile computing, wireless broadband and convergence devices,is set to be announced the winner of the multi-billion dollar kenya primary school laptop project.
The project shall see the firm provide upto 1.2 million laptops at a cost about 300 usd per laptop the project is envisioned as one of the biggest digital projects in schools in Africa targeting school entry level children in thousands of schools in Kenya which some are believed not to have electricity.

The project is a government election pledge to the kenyan citizens.
